November FNSI sign ups

It's been a slack ol' time here in the Sugarlane household, sewing-wise this past month.....
My boss has been away having her knee reconstructed and I've had to step up and take the reins whilst she's recovering....this full-time work gig has passed it's prime, I tell you!

The money's ok, but I a-m  e-x-h-a-u-s-t-e-d by the time I get home, my back is sore, my feet are sore, my neck and shoulders feel like they're in a vice and my knee has swollen up and is throbbing by the end of the day.  Thank God it's only for a few weeks and I can retreat back to my 'normal' routine.....I'm just praying I'm not doing any permanent damage to MY knee in the meantime.....however, on the upside, with all the walking up and down the shop and back and forward to the bank every day, I am getting fitter! (not slimmer, just fitter!)  And unpacking all the Christmas stock IS fun.....

And I do have something to look forward to this week.....Friday Night Sew In!   I'm sooo looking forward to it.  I'll have to make sure I have everything set so I can start as soon as I get home after work......will you join me?
Sign ups are below, so just link up and share on your pages, linking back here so we can have a H-U-G-E night.   My favourite night of the month because I get to share it all with you (and hopefully get something finished!)

Come back tomorrow night and see what prize there is on offer this month.  One lucky person will be winning it, I wonder if it will be you?

xox Sugary hugs  :o)

I'm looking forward to FNSI - I'm hoping to finish piecing my 2015 Bonnie Hunter mystery quilt before the 2016 mystery starts next week! All I have left is the borders. And then there are the Magic of Christmas blocks which are now going to be coming "fast and furious" according to Lisa Bonjean's blog. I completely agree with you on the work thing - it really gets in the way of my fun!

I do enjoy my Friday night sewing! I'm hoping to finish up my new jacket this week, then start work on my partner's new fleece cycling jersey on Friday.

Looking forward as usual to FNSI! I'll either be working on quilted Christmas gifts or on my Mosaic applique project!

Hi Wendy, I marked today on my calendar to sign up for your Sew-In night. I found your blog through some circuitous route, and it sounded like fun. I'm in Canada, so your Friday night is about 14 hours ahead of me ;)

I do hope your boss makes a swift recovery - for your sake as much as hers! Looking forward to Friday - we are out too lunch which means I shall have the whole evening to stitch and no food to prepare. See you there. xx

FINALLY I have no assignments to occupy me on the weekends so, despite my plans to get a long-overdue massage after coaching Friday night, I'm looking forward to doing a little stitching and crafting. Hoping to catch up on a lot of it - 'tis been so long!!

Oops, I accidentally posted a link to an old blog of mine. Anyway to delete an entry? It's the Around the Homestead link. I made sure and posted the correct blog as well:)
Thanks!!

There have been *cough* a number of times I've signed up for FNSI and then not actually done anything, but THIS time will be different. (maybe?) ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
