Good Morning all my lovely blogging friends!!!
Just thought I'd share with you a view I captured this morning...
Such a beautiful sunrise....makes you appreciate what we have in life and that each day is a new beginning....a beautiful and wonderful gift we all receive to unwrap every single day!!!!
So lovely after all that dust!!! *sigh*
And on other notes......I'm sure you will have noticed the new button on my sidebar - join me in the Handmade Christmas Ornament Swap 2009. Yep, it's almost Chrissy time already....85 oops 84 days to go now....let's share the love and Christmas Spirit all around the world....we'll remind everyone what Christmas is all about!
Robyn (from Daisy Quilts) and Clare from (Clare's Craftroom) are hosting the swap and it's simple.....just handmake a small, gorgeous Ornament and Christmas Card for your swap partner to enjoy and have it completed and sent by December 1 (my son's 15th birthday.....maybe I'll make one for him too!!!!)
You can find more details at their blogs but it's going to be soooo much fun!!! All my family are away for Christmas so it's going to be a bit of a non-event this year - this is going to spruce it up a bit!!!! I'm a little bit excited (if you couldn't tell!!) Thanks Robyn and Clare.....you're wonderful Christmas Angels! XXX
Remember to send prayers to Barb from Bejewelled Quilts....she lives in American Samoa and was in the middle of that terrible tsunami and earthquake....luckily both her and her husband are safe, but many around her were not!
Also prayers to Terry from Terry's Treasures and her family. Terry's husband's leg was amputated a couple of days ago due to a work accident and althought things are going well, surgery-wise, you can imagine the stress!!!! Laurie from A Yankee Quilter has offered to make a quilt from blocks that we all make as a gesture of support from the family......if you want to help, click here for more info.
If there's something I've learnt in my first few weeks of blogging, it's that bloggy friends are some of the most caring and special people you will ever come across......I'm soooo glad to have found you all!!
So, go back to the photo....enjoy.....and have a wonderful day.
HUGE sugar-coated hugs to you all!
