Siamese?????

  In Australia, we are voting in a federal election tomorrow for our new Prime Minister…. they say it’s going to be ‘neck and neck’….. and I guess even the garden thinks it’s going to be  close……look what I found in the garden this afternoon……. …a siamese rose!!!….have you ever seen such a thing????  I must say, I’ve NEVER been exposed to one before, not that I’m an expert or anything, but has anyone ever seen anything like it before?….or is it a bit of a unique phenomenon????? Here’s another view to show you I’m not using trick photography….. See the single stem???…..very strange….but maybe a sign that it is going to be a ‘very close’ call tomorrow!!! (LOL….sorry about that…it’s a little bit of a sad joke,isn’t it????) I’m working at a polling booth for the election tomorrow, so it will be an early start and a very late night of counting!!!!  I had to pass up a trip to a neighbouring city’s ‘Fibre and Fabrics Show and Tell’, which was a little disappointing, but knowing how I spent up at the last Show…..it’s probably just as well!!!! hehehe While our thoughts are on the future, just thought I’d let you know about Chooky’s 2010 Secret Santa Christmas Swap……..
