What a wonderful day we had yesterday at the Proserpine Show and Tell, which is held on a rotation through our district every two years and is a chance for us to show each other what we’ve been up to.
It was an early start…..at 6am on the road…
…for the 9am start at Proserpine…..
Lots of shopping….
before the start…
and lots of ooohs and aaaahs as beauties rolled out all day from each of the clubs….
examples of ALL types of quilts, bags and crafty ‘bits’…..applique, batiks, stained glass, rail-fence, medallion, pieced, stack and slash, bargello, Japanese, sashiko, panels, french braid, art, ones from workshops or kits, hexies, spiderweb, African, tropical, hand embroidered, machine embroidered, black and white, Aussie themed, Kaffe Fassett, cutaway, tropical, convergence, jelly rolls, crazy patch……and the list goes on and on and on……
It was an outstanding day put on by the Proserpine Chat and Patch group….A huge congratulations to the coordinators and the team……what an effort! And in two years, it’s our turn in the Burdekin…..but not until after our Quilt show in August next year….which reminds me….I must get cracking!!!!
I think I’ve discovered my mojo again!
