Friday Night Sew In

Sunday already, so I thought I’d better share with you what I got up to when I joined my friends for a night of stitching at the FNSI…….

Since I found my mojo hiding deep under the covers in the spare bed, I also delved deep into the craft cupboards and found this old friend………

a sashiko panel, which I bought over 12 months ago, that has just been waiting to be done.  Isn’t he cute??  I managed to finish him and start on the next one today….

These will join another two already completed panels…..

Cheryll did a marvellous job of hosting FNSI all the way from China…..how clever!!!……..so why not pop on over to her blog to see what all the other girls got up to whilst she was away!?

And this afternoon, I’m off to do some catching up on my Aiming For Accuracy QAL blocks…..I’m a couple of blocks behind!!!  What are you up to this afternoon??

Yay for the mojo home-coming!! LOVE that owl Wendy, I love sashiko. I doubt I'd be brave enough to actually do it though - my stitches are not as even as they used to be, lol! My stitching buddy, Cathy, bought the sashiko machine from, I think, Brother - and she's never used it - it's quite amazing, and looks done by hand!
