Wow…..that time certainly flew past….I think I was a little preoccupied with organising something for our Guild’s Christmas party on Saturday and then my ‘little’ boy’s birthday dinner on Sunday night!!!
Saturday was such fun with a wonderful group of ladies. We’d organised a hanging towel swap for our Christmas exchange gift. I stitched together some Lario mini charm squares and stitched in some ricrac and ribbon to create this one…..
Not the best photo, but I tell you, it was hard to let it go…it was loved by it’s new owner though and I know it’s going to a very good home so I’m happy about that! Here’s the one I received…
with a lovely bookmark and tube of hand cream. So cute!!!!
We ate heaps….
….and giggled lots…..
…and generally had a really good time!
My ‘little boy’ really threw a spanner in the works when he arrived 6 1/2 weeks early, and instead of being born in January, he was a December 1 baby (which throws the ‘putting up the Christmas tree’ tradition out of whack just a little!!!) My little bundle of premature joy, who weighed just a little over 5lb at birth now towers about a head and a bit above me and has turned into one handsome young devil (well……. I am just a tad biased!!!) Amazing what 19 years can do!!!!
Now I do know that his birthday is December 1st…..but my mind slipped as to everything else that was due on December 1….. and just tonight I realised that I hadn’t drawn the birthday-love stash!!!!! EEK!!!!!!
I’m so sorry……but I’m sure you’ll forgive me???!!!
The prize this month is one of Jenny of Elefantz’s most popular patterns…..”Miss Molly Moo”
I adore this one, it has a special place in my heart……maybe because Miss Molly Moo was the affectionate nickname my dear mother gave me as a teeny child!!!!!! (most likely because I am a ‘molly dooker’ aka a left hander).
So, enough with all the sentimentality……here goes…….
Mr Random Number Generator has drawn out……

Hugs xx
He is indeed a handsome lad. What a great Christmas party. You always look like you're having fun wherever you go - and food, too. LOL Congratulations to De!
what a great time you all had xx best wishes to you handsome son xx
You are rightly biased, Wendy - he is a handsome lad. Your busyness sounds like a lot of fun was had by all. I need to put some thought in that "Gift-Love Stash" for 2014. Add it to "Let's get organized".
Have a lovely day. Love'n'hugs.
