Miss Heather kept the photographs up (so we could show her so she didn't feel left out) as we enjoyed morning tea…..
Yummy pear and ginger crumble slice….
and then lunch.....
Caramelised onion, pancetta, fetta and rosemary tarts with a side salad and lemon, lime and ginger iced tea......mm mmmmmm.....was delish!
We did manage to get some sewing done too..... Michelle worked on her baby quilt and stitched this whole block!
Heather worked on a free design she'd traced out....isn't it gorgeous....I didn't catch where she got it from so you might need to pop over and visit her to see whether she tells you in her post
..and I continued on this block which you've seen progressing over the past few weeks...nearly there now...only a couple of blocks to go......
Next fortnight it's at Jen's place....can't wait!!!!!
Last week I managed to finish something...only something small, but it's important...our placemat for Let's Get Stitched which is happening really soon in Melbourne...talk about excited!!!!!
The back of it is calico, so we can all sign it and remember our wonderful long weekend together! Not my normal fabric choice, but I'd had this sewing themed fabric hanging around for 'ever' and wanted to use it, so I used one of my hand dyed fabrics for the stitchery and it matched perfectly. And there's my first, no second OPAM for the year! Now only the name badge to go!
Now I can't believe it's the 3rd February already!!! I'm sure I just turned around and four days disappeared before my eyes!!!! So it's time to draw the Birthday-Love Stash for January.......
Mr RNG has drawn......
Number 7 which is.......
EDITH
Congratulations Edi....you are now the proud winner of this gorgeous charm pack...
Hope you enjoy it! Just know you will!!!!
Now, so you don't miss out this month.... the sign up for the February Birthday-Love Stash is right here....
I'm off to start a new design....I'm on a deadline! *wink*
